Today on a “Places to see” blog, I’m posting some photos of the coolest mural in DC.  The first installation by French artist JR makes a statement on the corner of 14th and T streets. The two-storey mural on the façade at 1401 T St is the iconic civil-rights-era photo by Ernest Wither, of the1968 Memphis sanitation workers strike with them holding up signs saying “I am a man”.
